Big Sky Tool Reviews
Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews (2) for this saw before ordering it. It was hard to start, just as the other reviewers mentioned. and harder still to keep it running. With the chain brake off, after it warmed up for ten minutes or so, it would still die if I tried to open the throttle too fast. Forget about trying to cut anything with it. Local repair shop said it sounded like the chain brake wasn't adjusted properly. Might be a good saw if the brake was adjusted, and if it started easier. Since it was still within their 30 day warranty period, BST offered me the option of returning it for a refund, so I did. (Fortunately they have great customer service, and there was no hassle with it.) Other items I've purchased from them have worked fine, but I had read their reviews before ordering.

Good homeowner saw. Reconditioned but looks like new. Much better than Craftsman or Poulan chainsaws. I bought several chainsaws from BigSky and I`m happy with them.
