There's A Reason HD Doesn't Carry These Anymore
Received a set of these as a gift from my dad, but I've never had anything but trouble from day one.

I'm assuming Campbell Hausfield made these, but they're nowhere near as good as my other Campbell Hausfield brad nailer. Every other nail jams, or the firing pin goes over the nail and gets stuck, so you frequently have to disassemble and manually reset it, half the time a nail doesn't fire, and the same problems persist across every single nailer in the set. At first I thought it was my compressor, but nope, it runs my framing nailer no issue. I've always used a few drops of air tool oil before using, so that's not the issue either. Could be the nails I'm using, but I've used every brand from harbor freight to Sears, and nothing works reliably. Even if you can get it to feed, it'll only shoot every second or third and it's difficult to tell if it actually worked.

At this point I'm convinced all these nailers suck, and that's presumably why home depot doesn't carry these anymore. I bet even harbor freight nailers would be better than these. Stay away, for the sake of your sanity.
