Hi this is the third or fourth reconditioned product I've purchased. This product was the first that did not seem "new", it also had a rusty, partially working bit quick release which was workable but not optimal. It is a tool, it works, but not my best purchase.

This tool came to me in almost new condition and use it almost daily. It handles most common driving needs. It's very rare where I wish I had purchased the 18v model. The adjustable belt hook and light is a nice feature and use it quite often. I also like the power mode swith that allows you to adjust the torque to a "power" mode or "save" mode for driving small screws. Battery life seems good although it's hard to tell how much use and wear the batteries had when the recondtioned tool came to me. This is the second Hitachi impact i have owned. The first was the 14.4 model with the NiCad battery, instead of buying new batteries I bought this reconditioned one. My first Hitachi had been dropped off a couple of roofs (I used to install satellite dishes) and still worked without defect so that's why I have stayed with the brand. Overall very satisfied with the tool.

Like my other Hitachi cordless power tools, this one is outstanding. We use it every day on remodeling jobs and the Lithium - ion batteries are lasting three times longer than regular ones. I have two of those and one is 5 years old and still I am using same batteries. Great tools. Andrew
