  1. I reccommend this.
This is a handy blower to have around the shop or garage.I have been trying to get one for a year. Am glad that Hitachi started to make them again. I really like it to blow off my tractor after cutting grass

Little disappointed. I thought blower was going to have a longer tube. Almost need to kneel to be able to reach the ground. Not very powerful. I guess I should have pay more attention to accessories that came with it. I thought battery was included. I probably wouldn't have ordered it if I knew it wasn't. Overall, not very satisfied.

This is a very lightweight item that I doubt will be used much. Bypass the pretty low price for a more robust product.

This is a well-made product, but don't buy it if you are expecting to use it in the garden as a leaf blower. It is compact and lightweight. I bought it to dust off electronics & woodworking projects, which it is well suited for. It uses batteries fairly quickly, and air volume drops when the battery is getting low (this isn't a complaint, just an observation).

Quite surprised by the minute size of this blower. Much smaller than I envisioned although in reality, knowing the dimensions of battery packs, the picture should have been a visual giveaway. I was hoping for a blower capable of handling the after-mowing/trimming/edging duties but this little guy is just a bit too small. It lacks both in volume and velocity of air to get "that" job done. Also, as others have stated, the velocity tube is also much too short to comfortably use for any length of time as a sweeper since it requires you to stoop over to place it in effective blowing range and angle of any weighty debris. With that said... This is still a very nice addition to my Hitachi cordless stable. It works well for clearing "dry" debris such as grass, leaves, bird seed, potting soil, small amounts of light sand, sawdust, etc from hard and relatively smooth surfaces. Perfect for my 10'x20' concrete patio. I've also found it useful for blowing clean the sliding door and window sill channels of the usual debris. The irony is it does tend to be "overpowered" for use indoors as a sweeper or bench cleaner -- Cloud creator. Without a variable speed trigger the only indoor use I can think of at the moment would be to cool hot items (i.e. motor, recent weld or grind). Should add that with fully charged 3.0mAh Li-Ion I get 15min of use. Although not what I was expecting I am still quite satisfied with this purchase. Its relatively low noise level and ease of use for small cleaning and sweeping projects has made it a go-to tool. On top of that the unmatched price along with reasonable shipping fee from BigSky has made me a happy customer. I now await their next great deal. Thanks BigSky!

shipping and purchase was pretty painless.. the only thing is the tool.. it's like a handheld hair blowdryer .. the unit is small and it doesn't come with any extending tubes to reach the ground blowing away leaves, which makes it a pain to use for yardwork. I use it to blow off saw dust from the table saw and garage shop dust.. I would not recommend this for yard work..

For what it is, it does a good job - in that the nozzle is so short (if) it was just a 1ft. longer it would have a better utility ease of use.....

I got it to clear leaves and twigs from my deck. It is not as powerful as I wanted and I also have to lean over to get the leaves moving the way I want. So, I added a 24 inch extension made out of PVC pipe and narrowed the tip to increase velocity. Now it's OK but still not great. I'm actually thinking of replacing the motor with a more powerful one. I have several that I use in radio control aircraft.
