  2. Hitachi is a great gun.
I am a professional painter, but i do a lot of siding for repairs before painting. I have owned a lot of siding guns. this hitachi is the best I have owned. I have owned Duofast, Paslode, Porter Cable, it beats all these brands. I have also used some other brands. The hitachi works the best.
Least double fires, least nail jams. smooth operation. The C grade came with a few scratches, but who cares, my guns get scratches all the time. We use them hard.

  4. Don't think twice, buy it!!
I ordered the reconditioned "grade c" version of this nailer. It arrived quickly and well boxed as is the case with Big Sky. The "grade c" version is obviously been used but I would say the use is very light. I would rather let someone else put the first scratch on it and pay half the price. Its a nail gun and I don't expect it to look pretty. I plan to use it.

I did lots of research and this gun is the industry standard. I pulled it out and tested it to make sure it was functioning properly. The gun worked flawlessly and it set the nails perfectly. I was easily able to adjust the depth of the nail. These are the main benefit for me over using my framing gun.

I will be using this to install fence pickets and hardi siding. I expect great results with this new gun. "Grade C" price made this gun affordable for me and it did not cost me any quality of function just cosmetic appearance.

I had borrowed one of these from a friend and loved it. I had to have one. It works great for soffit material, waferboard underlayment for vinyl siding, and it's perfect for fence boards. This gun saves a lot of time and effort, and it lets me did most jobs without a helper. The vinyl nose-protector likes to tear, and I lost one of its attaching screws, but that's a minor issue. This is one of my favorite tools, and the quality of the grade C reconditioned tool is excellent.

No problems with nailer. Worked perfectly in finishing shingling a home in Vermont. Very cost effective and certainly worked as effectively as a new nailer. FXB

Awesome deal , fast shipping , works perfect , I am a recon man for 6 years now and it is a deal. As a general contractor I put these tools through the ultimate test. You still have to treat them well , and they will last a long time.

The nailer has a strange feel to it when driving nails. It has an odd kick back that I've never noticed using any other siding nailer. But it drives nails.
