Big Sky Tool ReviewsThis was a gift for my son. He called and was very pleased. I have one like it. He scoffed at me when I told him how great it was. Then he borrowed it for a framing project. He was so impressed that he said "You are not taking this back home with you!" I eventually got it back when the project was finished. It was his birthday and I decided to get him his own nailer. I have purchased many tools from you and have been exeedingly pleased with all of them. Al

Big Sky Tool ReviewsHard to depress the safety to shoot gun. Could hold more nails , but the second one you sent seems to work ok.

Big Sky Tool ReviewsThe nailer looked good, and the kit was complete. It did not show much wear at all. I've only had a chance to use it app. 10 strips of nails, but initially I had tons of no fires. The plunger on the tip would depress all the way like it should and the fan would spool up, but it refused to fire when the trigger was pulled. It seemed to only want to fire if it was held more or less straight down. After a few choice words and some trial and error I had less misfires. Might be operator error on my part, but I won't know till I use it some more. Overall I like it.

Big Sky Tool Reviewsi absolutely love it. it arrived quickly and in great shape. even though it was a reconditioned nailer, you would never have known it. when it got to my home, it seemed brand new. i have never owned an air or gas/battery powered nailer before, but i needed one to build my shed. i have nothing to compare it to, but i can't imagine anything could be much better. especially for the price. and after seeing me build my shed, my neighbor was inspired to build one of his own. i let him borrow my nailer to do his and he also fell in love instantly. he even kissed it "goodbye" when he gave it back to me. if i ever need tools in the future, i will check this site first. thanks for the good experience and the fantastic nailer. nate

Big Sky Tool ReviewsHi, gas powered nailer is very nice. I think they will replace regular, pneumatic nailers in future. Unfortunately Hitachi is rather unreliable. My colleague has the same problem with similar product. They were fixed by finnish importer twice (...for free...thanx!), now it works but triggering is still not 100%. Round head nailer is much more versatile compared to regular framing nailer. However, I woudn't change back to pneumatic :-)

Big Sky Tool Reviewsthis has been a great nailer that I use on the farm particularly when I can't get power for a compressor. The biggest challenge is finding Hitachi gas cylinders and nails. Generics work but not as well and with some challenges. For the price it is well worth the minor inconvenience.

Big Sky Tool ReviewsI've been extremely disappointed with this gun. I have had to have it repaired twice now, and it gets VERY LITTLE use, and only by me. It has been professionally cleaned and maintained since the day I purchased it, and it has still failed me twice on small jobs which was a real hassle. I have purchased many other reconditioned tools, and use numerous Hitachi products which I am happy with including drills, grinders & a chop saw. This nailer is just not the product I expected. I ended up purchasing a Paslode to replace it since I need something that is dependable every time I need it. As far as the specifics, the repairs that were necessitated--both times, they were at or involving the nail ejector, and had nothing to do with the gas cartridges or battery. The factory-authorized repair center that did the work told me that this model has had this particular problem from the outset and that they have seen several of these guns with the same issues. Want to send me a new one for my trouble?? I'd be happy to give it a try...

Big Sky Tool ReviewsThis is an awesome nail gun, shoots nails all the way. I used it to build a storage shed, worked great, Now the only thing I don't like is having to buy gas cells, I knew they were around $16.00 for a 2 pack. but I didn't know how much you would use, and you can't leave them in the gun or they will be empty when you go to use the gun a day later, I still have this gun, but most of the time I use my Hitachi air gun because of the gas cells. this gun is great if you don't have access to an air compresser, but other than that go with the air

Big Sky Tool ReviewsAbsolutely AWESOME. I don't know who used it before, but it looks brand new. I've put several hundred nails thru it and it keeps on ticking. Would buy a dozen if I needed them

Big Sky Tool ReviewsSecond replacement was great. The first unit shipped was very bad and looked like it had never been reconditioned. This was corrected at once when I notified you. The second replacement looked and performed like new. I am very pleased with both the product and service.

Big Sky Tool ReviewsGreat Nailer especially when there is no power available for an air compressor. Not as fast as my Senco, but I love being hose free (a hose will catch on any and everything within a mile of the worksite! I have actually owned two of these and bought both of them from you. The first one fell out of the rafters and landed on concrete breaking a part of the housing and an internal part that caused it to not fire correctly. It was a ten-foot drop so I am not surprised that it broke. However, I liked the gun well enought to replace it with aother just like it so I would say that's the best recommendation I could give for this product. At the price of around $170 including the case, battery and a battery charger, it is a great gun. I have friends who have paid almost that much for one of their fancy framing hammers!

Big Sky Tool ReviewsI bought the nailer to replace a stolen Porter Cable Fr 350. The price was so good I thought what the heck I'll give it a shot. It takes the same nails at the FR350 and the paslode gas cartridges. So everything for it is widely available. I have driven over a box of 16dd with it and have never had a problem. The battery easilly last all day when charged. No problems what so ever! Excellent tool!

Big Sky Tool ReviewsCan't toe-nail; safety may be too sensitive. Won't drive larger nails home, amount depends on wood being penetrated.

Big Sky Tool ReviewsIt is a O.K. gun you really have to push hard to get it to fire. Fuel cell go empty faster than I thought they would.

Big Sky Tool ReviewsNice gun, had issue finding hatachi nails. Lowes carries them, but only hot dipped ring shank 10d and 8d nails 1000 count. I am a home owner and use this ocassionally. Right now using it to build a shed. It is sure a time saver. So far has only jammed once (after about 300 nails) using the 8d nails. I was going very fast and it jammed when 2 nails left in current strip. I wanted to get some 16d nails but could not justify buying 5000 non-hitachi nails. So use the 10d nails but also put in some regular 16d nails with my palm nailer.
