  1. Great multi-function drill for DIYers and Pros alike
This is my first purchase from BigSkyTool, and I am not disappointed! This drill, although being re-conditioned, arrived a perfect condition, looking completely brand-new! I have used it already to drill some wood, steel, and concrete using different sizes of drill bits. The drill made every job a breeze!
This is really two tools in one. The drill is excellent in hammer-mode for drilling concrete, and in regular drilling mode for steel, wood, plastic, etc. The two-speed gearbox is very helpful too, especially when using larger diameter drill bits (1/2" or larger). Variable speed trigger is also very handy. Overall feel, construction, and balance are excellent too. This is a great bang for your buck, get it, you'll never regret it.

  3. Excellent Value - Solid Drill - Great Customer Service
This is my 6th tool purchase from Big Sky in less than 6 months. I am very pleased with the tools and the customer service. This is one SOLID drill. Nothing light-weight about it - not to say that it is too heavy to manage - just that this drill is built to do some hard work and last.

Thanks Big Sky - I plan to make future purchases

This is a really great hammer drill, with its Rohm (German) chuck, extended side handle, and well designed case. Hitachi has applied its excellence equally to this hammer drill as it does to its rotary hammers.

It works great. I originally purchased a less powerful drill at Lowe's and returned it after seeing the drill I purchased on Recon Sales. I mix mortar, grout and drill holes with no problem. I would buy another if I hjad to. Thanks.

The motor burned up while drilling 1/2" diameter holes in 1/4" angle iron. It took eight weeks to get the drill repaired. Fortunately it was still under warranty. The hammer drill function works fine.

Drill was used to sink framing anchors into concrete block basement wall. Worked great for about two weeks, then overheated, smoked and died. I thought I could save some money....My mistake. Since it worked on arrival, I left positive feedback.

Drill performs well "BUT" battery charger did not work from time received til replaced @ a later date & battery is hard to remove @ times from drill to recharge (not a big deal). Main concern is the battery life is short compared to my Bosch drill (which does not discharge if not in use) the Hitachi battery will discharge itself after a full charge after a period of time "even if it is not in use"... An extra battery needs to be offered in set (as was with my Bosch set) to rectify this (it would make buy additional products from your company & I am the tool buyer for my company Tepro Inc. OEM automotive vender. But in closing, as I said earlier the drill itself has performed well.

After only a few uses, the drill would stop in the middle of a job, with erratic start-stop response. Then it became totally unresponsive when trigger was activated. It was a total waste of my money, and am convinced I was "taken". My rating is actually zero Star but since there is no way to indicate zero I punched "one".

Very visible wear and tear from hard use, but there is some life left in it... it works for occasional use, but I would not recommend for someone who would use it a lot... very limited life left in the product.

This product worked great for awhile - but didnt last even 6 months. The clutch or gears broke and now it is worthless, seemed like a great deal when i bought it. But now wish i had bought something new (not refurbished) from lowes or home depot that i could have returned for a new one or refund!

best value I have seen anywhere.. in fact I bought 2 drills the first time and several months later and bought 2 more.. All four are still working perfectly and show no sign of that changing in the future. For the price I dont think you could find a better drill at twice the cost.

I like this great product. It is small enough to use with ease but has plenty of power. I use it exclusively for drilling and driving screws into concrete and cynderblock. It has the feel of a drill made 50 years ago when plastic was not used to make them. It came with a large case which is a bonus because I also carry my Hitachi right angle drill in it too. jk suffern,ny

this is a great tool. it came with a few wear marks (it was reconditioned) but functions very well. It has a lot of power. I bought it to hammer-drill into the wall to install a gate. I have not installed the gate, yet, but that is my fault. I did test the hammer-drill when I got it and it will bore into cinderblock with no problem. I have always been a fan of Hitachi tools an this is another example of why.
