I used it to install hurricane shutter hold down screws in my brick home- about 600 holes. It worked fantastic, going through like butter. It's nice to have the right tool. The condition of the tool was better than I expected, and felt no loss from a new drill.

Being a Grade C item, I was expecting a worn looking drill; but it looks nearly new. I have been very pleased with it's performance and power. Recon Sales does a very good job of providing exact details and a quality product.

NOT ONE STAR, BUT ZERO STARS! I have spent hundreds of dollars from this site and have gotten some very quality rebuilt items at a great deal. Not this one! This drill worked for no more than a minute and a half and started smoking bad out of the stator vents. There was that burning plastic smell. Also the slower speed of the two speeds didn't even work! Then on top of that, the chuck key included was so chewed up and cracked it wasn't even usable. If that is not enough, i called to get a replacement because this drill is not even worth 1 U.S. Dollar, and they told me there is a "15" day return policy. it had been over two weeks so they recommended i take it to a certified Hitachi repair location for warranty service. This is not what i would call a warranty claim. i was sold a used broken tool. Even with the seemingly good deals found on this site i will pay more in the future somewhere else to ensure i get a quality product and i can return it if it is not what is advertised.

The product was a little scuffed to be expected from a Grade C tool. Very acceptable and most importantly it worked well. I was disappointed that it did not include a key for the chuck.
