Batteries are very weak. i have purchased several tools from you, for myself, as gifts and for my work. (I teach construction at a technical college) This is the first time I have been disappointed. Though the tool is a grade C I would expect the batteries to be in much better condition. With the first battery I was able to drill 8-3/16" holes in MDF. The second battery did somewhat better-12 holes.

I already had one and needed new batteries. It was cheaper to buy the whole thing then buy batteries separately. I have used my Hitachi for about 4 years with no problems.

It's been a great product, but the batteries that came with it are not any good. They won't charge fully and are dead before I can finish the work I am doing. I would buy new ones, but they would cost more the driver drill cost.
