Hitachi DH22PG 7/8" SDS Plus Rotary Hammer (Grade C Reconditioned)

Hitachis most compact and lightweight SDS hammer ever, the new DH22PG is ideal for overhead or extended use applications and allows the user to gain access to the tightest areas. It comes with a powerful 5.4 amp, 620 watt motor which provides exceptional drilling performance in common small diameter holes - up to 24 in/min in medium to hard concrete with a 3/16" bit with a full-load tri-axial vibration of only 8.75 m/s2. The idle strike restrictor prohibits no-load hammering, preventing unnecessary wear on internal components and reducing no-load tri-axial vibration to 1.42 m/s2. With two modes of operation, the DH22PG can also be used in wood and steel drilling applications or for setting fasteners and screws.
The 5.4 amp, 620 watt motor provides fast drilling in common 5/32" and 3/16" diameters Easy to use mode selection for choosing between drill only and hammer-drilling capabilities The drill is compact and lightweight for improved maneuverability when being used in tight spaces or in overhead operations The quick bit insert allows you to quickly and easily change between bits The slip clutch prevents damage to gears caused by excessive torque The idle strike restrictor prevents hammering while tool is in no-load operation which prolongs tool life and reduces no-load vibration The internal pressure adjustment feature minimizes variations in internal pressure allowing stable hammering operation and more efficient drilling

Big Sky Tool ReviewsDidn't notice the chuck...sold it and bought a different 1/2" drill motor. Would be great if all your bits were for concrete...

Big Sky Tool ReviewsI can't believe this was rated as Grade C. It had maybe 1 scratch on it. What tool doesn't get scratched? Especially hammer drills that are used around concrete. The unit I bought works perfectly, came with a nice case. What more could anyone want?
