Good purchase so far. Have only done one small job with it. I had to down load the operating manual off the internet and print it out. It came with no manual.

Light weight. Works great. Minimal vibration. Does leak a fair amount of bar lube oil when in storage, enough to completely soil a brown paper bag it was sitting on. Bottom line I am satisfied with my purchase.

The jury is still out on this chainsaw as I haven't used it more than 30 minutes. So far I am not impressed with how hard it is to start. Possibly a carb adjustment issue, but I shouldn't have to work on a brand new tool. Are these started before shipping?

Used it once. It is hard to start. It also leaks oil pretty badly. The shipment box was soaked with oil when it arrived. Not very satisfied with my first experience with Big Sky

The saw arrived in a cardboard box, damaged at the end where the saw bar is, and with the return spring protruding from the handle where it positions the top safety switch. The bar was undamaged, and five minutes with a screwdriver lifted the top plate, I re-positioned the spring, reassembled the unit and it worked properly. In operation, the saw is difficult to start when cold with or without the choke, but when warmed up, it runs well and starts on the first pull. It has adequate power to cut through ten inches of green apple wood, or any other hardwood or softwood it meets. It is relatively quiet, has very low vibration which makes it an easy saw to use. I like it, and the deal was a bargain.

Meets my expectation for an inexpensive saw. The bar had no sprocket on it. Big Sky quickly replaced it.

Haven't used it yet, but it looks like it will do the job of light tree cutting in the yard. It does start quickly, is a bit cantankerous at first, then smooths out.

Shipping was fast and product was as advertised. Saw did not come with "toothed" steel plate, but included a combination tool for the spark plug and adjustment of the chain. The saw looked new except for some small blemishes on the bottom. Saw is very light in weight compared to competing saws. Power is acceptable, but an additional 10 percent would make this an outstanding saw for the money. The saw starts okay, but not as good as my old Homelites. The fuel and oil caps really lock up tight even when only lightly tightened - almost too tight. I've only run seven or eight tanks of fuel through the saw and it seems to run better as it breaks in. Hopefully, after it breaks in the occasional stall when idling will be eliminated. I would recommend the saw to a friend if lightweight was more important than power. Overall a very good saw.

This saw is great for entry level homeowner. It looks great for a recondition product. Put fuel and oil 6 pulls and its running, idles perfect. Maybe a bit under power. I purchased the tuning screwdriver (single D) and tuned for max power and now it runs with performance. I recommend this saw for light duty as listed. This saw does what I expected. PERFECT 100 dollar purchase!!!!

Hi, I purchased this Chain Saw a few weeks ago. It arrived on time and worked right out of the box. The condition was brand new. I had used it a few times to trim a few trees. the saw is fast and cuts clean. I would buy it again.

Nice homeower saw. Biggest Problem was that you shipped me the saw with the chain on backwards, So I have to question your reconditioning checklist and process. Once I fixed the chain everything was good.
