The C18DMR has its blade mounted on the left side and comes with a built-in spotlight that helps illuminate the cut line even while working in dimly lit areas. The tool housing on the C18DMR circular saw is made of lightweight magnesium, while the base is made from steel plate for durability. It runs at 3,400RPM and is equipped with a 24-tooth, 6-1/2 inch blade.

Excellent low impact tool... for those smaller cutting jobs... it has however, stepped up on cutting larger pieces of dimensional lumber... use it to go to the wood storage area... and cut whatever I need without having to drag out the lumber.. put it on a sawhorse .. locate an extension cord,.etc., Only have to keep the batteries charged... and carry your spare... if you leave your tools in the carry box... your good to go !! on a lot of projects... I like using it to cut something that is overhead... light.. safe and able to get the job done of a larger full sized saw...
