This is a real nice sander. The variable speed really enhances the function when doing various types of wood.

Big Sky Tool Reviews
The tingling sensation you get from using a sander for an extended time has been reduced significantly by using a variable speed sander. However, this unit also has one of the best vibration absorbing mechanism I have ever used. Being a weekend warrior and having a good tool makes the HONEY-DO's more satisfying and no more tingling sensation in my hands. Good-bye Makita and hello Dewalt. Oh, the price was sensational too!
