Bostitch U/RN46-1 1-3/4" 15 Degree Coil Roofing Nailer (Reconditioned)
Description

Description

The factory-reconditioned Bostitch 3/4-inch to 1-3/4-inch coil roofing nailer can be used with composition roofing, exterior drywall, vapor barrier installation, insulation board, fiber cement siding, and vinyl siding (with VSA4 adaptor). The Bostitch RN46-1 is the only roofing nailer to feature integrated last nail capture so it won't fire when it runs out of nails. With its patented single-action side load canister, the nailer has 410 in-lbs of power for the toughest applications. This nailer also includes aggressive wear guards, non-skid pads and carbide inserts in the tip for long life. A quick set adjustable depth control makes for consistent nail drives. An over molded grip provides comfortable use and the shingle guide requires no tool for adjustment.

It worked flawlessly on my 32 square roof. Make sure you adjust the coil tray hight for the length of nails you are using. They go in much straighter when that is adjusted correctly. Very satisfied.

Product arrived at home defective and very little was made to help me with the issue of the trigger that seemed to be the issue. Turns out the nailer will not operate in mild weathers. Might have other issues as well. Will found out as the next visit (4th) to my local service center goes on. Very dissapointed :(

The gun worked fine except that the trigger seal blew on the first house. Now I have to either ship it to bostitch or pony up the dollars to pay someone to fix it. Frustrating it blew so soon.
