The metal case, which was part of the buying decision was is relatively beat up state - workable, but not what I am used to in reconditioned equipment. Though I have not yet discovered any performance issues with the units, it did shake my confidence in the quality of the reconditioning process.

I've been buying tools new and recon from Big Sky for a few years. In that all time I haven't had any problems. This current Makita LCT203W combo works well and has none of the reported problems I read in some reviews. Condition of tools and case are exactly like new. These are useful for assembly and electrical installs. I have purchased air nailers and cordless Hitachi tools as well with zero problems.

Very powerful and useful impact driver and drill driver. Recharge is around 30 minutes and is very versatile tool for any mechanic. I only wish it had a keyless drill chuck instead of a 1/4 " drive adapter. Quality and affordable tool. Thank you, Keith Wright

hi when i got it the case was damaged thats ok the the box did not have fragile on it hence the damage to the case but the drill seen to work well

I think that this set is a very good product. I have used them a lot and they are holding up well. I am very disappointed with Reconditioned Tools as when I recieved these and first charged them, I found that one battery would not take charge and was flashing the code that said it was defective. I e mailed immediatly but never recieved a response. I have been using these with just the one battery and it does not allow me to use the set to its full potencial. If you get this I would like someone to respond.

This is an excellent little drill kit! It's definitely the primary drill in my wood shop. The drill is all I need for most small holes and basic driving, and the impact driver makes short work of larger screws and even lag screws - very impressive. Charging is quick, and both tools hold a charge for quite a while. You won't confuse either of these tools with their 18V counterparts, but then again, good luck fitting an 18V drill in your POCKET...
Highly recommended if you're looking for a lightweight, convenient drill.

Great little combo set. Drill works very well; driver is excellent. Driver works with everything from #6 screws and smaller to 3 1/2" deck screws. Size is perfect for keeping handy in your pocket. One of the batteries was DOA, which Reconditioned Sales replaced with no problems.
I removed the foam from the case & bought a storage box from Harbor Freight which has bits & screws in it. I also bought a 1/4" shank drill bit set which fits nicely in the case. Now the case has the D/D set, the charger, 4 batteries, the 1/4 hex shank drill set, and my storage box with drivers & hardware-everything I need to do small repair projects in one place
