The tool is very light. Grade C was not bad at all. Using the tool, don't pull the trigger all the way to activate the impact effect; doing so will just make the thing spin too fast and mess-up the screw. Using the variable speed function, you can find the sweet spot that activates the impact effect and drives the screw nicely. At least that's how mine worked. My other impact driver, a 12V nicad hitachi, worked fine by just squeezing the trigger all the way. Until learned to back off, I messed up a lot of screws and a couple of driver bits. I don't know if this "issue" is the quirk that got my tool returned in the first place or whether it's an actual defect. I've decided to keep it; pulling the trigger 3/4 vs. all the way, the tool works fine. Nice feel, nice weight, nice price.
