Couldn't tell it was a recon. This is a good framing gun for the price. Haven't used it enough to see if it holds up against the good old hitachis i'm used to. It's light and has very little kick.

I'm not happy with the reconditioning effort. The gun refuses to fire except in an upright position. Upside down or at angles beyond about 30 degrees it will not fire. I have used this model in the past, purchased new, and had no problems.
I like the depth adjustment and the single shot/bump fire feature, but without full range of application angles the gun has a limited use.

Good price, looks great - but the spring clip you pull back after loading nails slips off the side of the nails sometimes. I would guess that is why this gun was returned. Disappointing as I need the gun right now - can't wait for service. It looks like new guns have a revised clip to address this problem.

shot about 4000 nails in 4 days,
worked flawlessly worked well,so light weight, i like the tool and ill be a returning customer i would love to see 220 v items too, oh yea... the gun was very powerful too!
