I like the unit, however it arrived broken, the oil head was broken at one of the screw locations and was leaking oil. I had to take the unit to the local service center for a warrente repair, which was extra trouble.

I’m very pleased with this compressor. It arrived in a well packed box without any damage. I was surprised to see the oil shipped with the compressor. The compressor looks like new. No sings of any ware and tare. It has been working well.

Looks like new and works great. You can't tell it's a reconditioned tool. After I filled it with oil (supplied by Hitachi), it fired it up and used it for framing and siding. Not too heavy, plenty of power for a "hand held" compressor.

Even starting cold below freezing. Reconditioned saves $$ yet boasts factory warranty. Whats to not like?

So far the Product seems good.
The only complaint I have is there was air leaking from some of the fittings & I had to disassembe and add teflon tape.

I got this compressor from Reconditioned sales and it never worked. They failed to back up their product. After alot of hassle I am out 156 bucks. Am filing a formal complaint with the BBB and with my state (Indiana) for both Reconditioned sales and Hitachi.
