the battery will hold a charge.Even if you charge them overnight,they willnot power the drill for five minutes.

The drill is heavy duty and for a nicad the run time is a lot longer than I expected it would be. If you need a cordless drill for work around the house pr garage, for the price it would be hard to beat.

I EXPECTED THIS TO BE A LITHIUM BATTERY TOOL. YOU DID NOT STATE IT WAS A NICAD BATTERY BUT YOU KNOW THESE ARE OBSOLETE AND YOU ARE JUST GETTING RID OF THEM.
