It's the darnedest thing....Every few years, the battery looses it's ability to hold a charge; forcing me to look for a replacement battery. BIG SKY comes along, with a deal on a reconditioned drill, flashlight, two battery's, and charger, for less than I can find a battery for.WHAT A GREAT WAY TO UPGRADE YOUR HITACHI EQUIPMENT !!!!!

I would not buy the 14.4 due to the fact that their 18v weighs the same and has a more comfortable grip. The light is an old incandescent type, another reason to get the 18v with built in LED. I'm sure it will last a long time, I was hoping to be get a tool in between the 12v and 18v but have decided to buy an 18v model.

I have not used the drill driver yet, but will say that if the shipping carton hadn't have been marked "Reconditioned" I would have thought you made a mistake and shipped a new one. Like the air framing nailer I ordered previously, I could not find a scratch on it. Even though I have yet to use it, I still give it a 5. Thanks again.

This is a great little drill!! Lightweight, agile and plenty of torque. A very nice change after lugging around a big, clunky RIGID drill. Now, let's see how long the batteries last!!
