I like the saw, but I would spend a few more dollars to get the newer one. this one looks kind of roungh for a recondition the table looks like it was abuse alot, the motor and table are not aline center, the blade is touching the table and the motor looks good. but works fine.

I purchased a reconditioned chop saw, expecting that it would be fully functional with a few cosmetic blemishes/signs of wear. That's exactly what I got. Saw works great, and I have put to work cutting angle, iron, square tube and even 1/2" thick bar. Once I figured out how to arrange the work (present shortest dimension to blade) it works great. This was truly a great deal.

Shipped promptly. Reconditioned but looks to be brand new inside and out. Started right up. Haven't needed it quite yet. Will update review after I've had occasion to give it a good work out but everything seems to be in order and I don't expect any problems. The one thing I've read, which is applicable to all these type of saws, is to avoid running them at the end of a long, long extension cord. Let you know.
