the handle broke on my old Hitachi saw and could not find a handle for it so i decided i would just go out and buy a reconditioned saw from Big Sky tools as i have made other purchases from you with great results. the saw arrived just a few days after ordering it and as usual it is performing just great. i use the saw almost daily at work as i am a bldg. contractor and would highly recommend a reconditioned tool from Big Sky as they are just like new but much cheaper.

Works great, would have given it 5 stars, but the blade included left a little to be desired. I.E. rough cuts. Replaced the blade with an 80 tooth Masterforce from Menards. Much cleaner cuts. Nice and light weight, easy to transport. Makes for a nice 2nd saw to my 12" Hitachi sliding compound miter saw. That thing is a beast.

The saw is perfect for what we needed it for. Got tired of dragging my big 12" Miter back and forth between our home in Houston and our ranch in New Mexico. Got this one for the ranch and so far it has done everything we need it to do. Shipping was super, received it like three days after we ordered on Labor Day holiday. Keep up the good work.

Incredible value on this workhorse miter saw. This thing saves me so much time. While there were some obvious cosmetic blemishes, it was reconditioned just fine and worked like new and was aligned out of the box. No accessories missing. Some even came preassembled! I've made dozens of perfect cuts on trim molding, 2x4's, 4x4's, and decking planks.
I considered a model with 12" and/or laser but for my needs, this is more than enough. In my limited woodworking education, I've learned the lasers can go bad or get knocked out of alignment easily, and it's generally more accurate to sight the blade against the wood anyhow.
Great buy. Glad I waited for a good sale. Made it even better!

I've been a contractor for 20 years. I know a good tool when I use it. I've owned this model before and loved it. (Previous one was stolen.) You can't buy a better saw for the money. I've used several Hitachi saw models and been impressed by all of them.
For those of you in doubt about reconditioned tools, do you realize that they get more attention in their reassembly and Q/A inspection than the new ones coming off the assembly line, one per minute?
This is not the first reconditioned item I've purchased. Try it. Better products at better prices.
This is my first purchase from Big Sky Tool, but it won't be my last. They have a great, user-friendly site, they delivered on time, and they gave me a great product.

I received the saw quickly and in a well-packed box. Opening it, I found everything in fine order. I mounted the saw to my work table and turned it on. It was immediately up to speed. I haven't had a need for it yet, but I'm sure all is well.
