With light palm pressure on the cylinder head these 23 gauge pins nicely seat to disappear below surface even when nailing thru 3/4" square hardwood trim into 3/4" plywood edging. Entirely recommended, though I have only rated 4 stars of 5 (having worked with 18 gauge for years and this being my first 23 gauge nailing experience) I can clearly and honestly say, so far so good.

I like to use Hitachi pins in my Hitachi pin nailer. They work perfectly, no jams, no misfires, drive straight and the strips hold together. The trouble is that Hitachi pins are not easy to find. Big Sky stocks every size and they get to me in 3 days so I don't have to use any other brand.
