The compressor is weak and it can not keep up with 1-2.framing guns .
It keeps running and the handle fell of the first day I used it. For trim guns it is ok.

Great compressor.. Pretty light, dual hose connections so you don't need to use a splitter. Have the larger dual tank Hitachi compressor which is heavy, so replaced it with this one for the smaller jobs. Great deal and awesome tool

Unit was clean and in working condition as expected. Only problem was regulator gauge couldn't have been inspected because the needle was stuck on rest pin at 0 psi. I had to remove the shroud and gauge protective cover to fix myself. I shouldn't have had to do that but all is working now.

Glad I ordered the 6 gal. model. Works great, and is light weight. Doesn't cycle on and off much using my pneumatic framing nailer. Am very pleased with it and the price was and excellent value!

I did not have hose to try the unit out for a while. Checked it out yesterday...unit looks and runs good. Did find the pressure regulator knob frozen but not able to do anything about that yet (no time). Otherwise, unit pumped right up to full pressure, shut off, no hissing or leaks.

Excellent compressor, hits 150 psi and has easy access control panel with two outlets. Great pressure drain. Great value, so I bought two for my crews.

I can't get it to stop leaking. When I bought it, there was a broken pipe between the manifold and pressure switch. I sent that back and it was fixed. Now, the pressure release valve between the pressure switch and manifold is leaking. I put plumbers tape on the threads but that didn't help. I put some pipe dope on the threads and will let that set for a day or so to see if that does the trick. I haven't been able to use it yet so don't have an opinion on that yet.

When received, I opened the vent valve and rusty water emerged (it had built up a small amount of pressure during transport, which is to be expected). My advice is to be sure and drain the unit, then build up some pressure and keep venting until the discoloration is gone. I had to do this a couple of times. Other than that, I used the compressor with my Hitachi staple gun for installation of T-111 plywood under the eves over my porch; both worked great and I will continue to purchase Hitachi refurbished units from BigSky, a great company doing excellent work in refurbishing units that end up looking and functioning like new.

I am not a big fan of oilfree compressors, but needed a compact 6 gallon unit for a construction project. This looks like it will fit the bill, and the price cannot be beaten for the excellent condition of this unit. This is another great BigSky deal on a quality Hitachi product. (Haven't used it enough to give the 5th star yet.)
