Reconditioned trimmer arrived in like new condition. Only had a chance to use it 3-4 times. Starts easy and trims very well. Light weight and the bump feed has worked without an issue. Zero issues going with reconditioned and the trimmer lives up it all the great reviews.

Trimmer was delivered promptly, and in excellent condition. It starts very easily and runs well. I have used it twice for a couple of hours each time cutting tough grass and weeds and briars. It works perfectly.

Arrived in great condition. Looks brand new. I bought it because the non recon unit has a great warranty... and I generally trust recon units. This unit is much smaller and lighter than the model it replaces. That is fine, my lot isn't very large. One thing I will do is put a heavier gauge line when I re-spool.

I bought the trimmer and blower package deal.The trimmer looked like new but straight out of the box had some sort of engine problem and would only run for a few seconds.I contacted customer service At Bigsky and it was returned at no cost to me.Several weeks later I received a replacement trimmer.This time I had better results.The trimmer looked like new,started,ran and operated well.I've used it several times over the last few months and it continues to run and operate well.I use only fresh non alcohol gas mixed with Amsoil Saber synthetic 2 cycle oil.

Clean, works good. Plenty of power. Bump feed does not work.

The trimmer works great after you get it started.Hot starts are a joke trying to start it ,but once it gets going great. Another thing had to replace the fuel lines to something more durable.

Arrived in excellent condition. Decent balance. Very quick start. Plenty of power. The only negative is that the head gets very hot, making it difficult to rest your forearm where it would naturally go.

Works great! Wish the manual was included because my internet connection is flakey and I can't be sure I can access the information when I need it.

Head too light. Too hard to control. Still worth the money since blower came with it.

Came as a package deal with the Hitachi blower. Both together were same price as the blower new. They arrived in a timely manner and both started right up. I've only used the blower so far, but it runs good and strong!

I've been using string trimmers professionally for 17 years. I've used both straight shafts and curved, cheap and expensive, and everything in between. This is the best string trimmer I've ever used. It's light and powerful and I've never worn a Hitachi out. When string trimmers break (and I've gone through a ton of them), I throw them away but I still have every Hitachi I've ever bought. The curved shaft allows me to get angles that you can't get on a straight shaft and I can trim faster with this model than with any string trimmer I've ever used. It pulls and starts easy. It allows me to cut around a tree, getting every blade of grass, without leaving scars on the bark. The down side to this model is that the on/off switch doesn't spring back to the "on" position and the hot exhaust tends to blow on my forearm in certain positions, but none of these are deal breakers. Big Sky ships these out via FedEx, which requires a signature, which means I have to wait around for the delivery, but this string trimmer is worth the wait.

Great Product! Shipped promptly and in like new condition when it arrived. Works great. The only thing I would do differently is buy a straight shaft rather than curved shaft trimmer.

Hi: have yet to fill it and try it, had to get a part from Christine, who was great,then more snow, now I might get a chance to fill it up and turn it on. i have all hitachi tools in my possesion that i use at present did away with dewalt tools would not stand up to the profession i am in.

The trimmer arrived assembled with just a few minor scratches. My yard is dormant this time of year, but wanted to see how it starts. Fueled it up and it started on the second to third pull. Will figure out the best prime, so maybe it will start on the first pull when cold. Also started on the first pull while it was hot. So far, looks like a good trimmer, happy with the purchase. Bought the trimmer and blower combo.
