zzzOLD-BTFP71917 NEW
The Bostitch BTFP1917 16 gauge finish nailer features Smart Point Technology from Bostitch. This allows you to clearly see the spot you want to fire your nail into. Bostitch has redesigned the nose pieces of the tools that feature Smart Point so that they are much smaller and don't block your line of sight. The cool feature from Smart Point is that you no longer need to press the contact trip to fire the tool. It has been designed so that the contact trip mechanism extends into the wood to activate the safety and fire the nail instead of the contact trip being pushed in to fire. The BTFP71917 is an oil free tool to help reduce maintenance cost.

Features

  • Smart Point™; Technology: Easy nail placement as a result of a smaller nose compared to current BOSTITCH nailers and no need to compress the contact trip to actuate the tool
  • Drives 16GA finish nails from 1-1/4" to 2-1/2" length
  • Oil-free operation reduces the risk of oil stains
  • Tool-free jam release mechanism for easy nail removal
  • Dial-A-Depth™; control for precise countersinking of brad nails
  • Selectable trigger system for sequential or contact operation
